Karen Petermann, Principal
Karen Petermann has been with Billings Catholic Schools since 1976. The majority of her teaching career was spent in the primary grades teaching first grade. Mrs. Petermann has had the opportunity of being the principal at Saint Francis Primary since 1996. She has three grown children who went through the BCS system, and she has five beautiful grandchildren.
Betty Reid, Administrative Assistant
Betty Reid was born in Billings, graduated from Billings West High School, and attended the University of Wyoming. She has been involved with the BCS system since 1977 when she returned with her family from Minnesota and enrolled her oldest child in kindergarten. Mrs. Reid has worked at SFP since 1988, starting out as the lunch lady. She did some custodial work, was the preschool aide, and is now the secretary. Every job change has moved Mrs. Reid closer to the front door of the school! Her husband is an alumnus of the Catholic school system, which led to their decision to send their children to the Billings Catholic Schools. All five of their children went through the system and graduated from Billings Central Catholic High School. Mrs. Reid thoroughly enjoys being a part of St. Francis Primary. She loves the staff and the younger children and hopes to be at SFP for many more years.
